You may want to sign into your CRA account to find out if you have any uncashed cheques waiting for you. CRA says there are several reasons why you may not have received these payments – you could have moved and the cheque was sent to an old address, or it could have been stolen, lost, or destroyed. Whatever the case, this is your money to deposit. If you log into your CRA account, there is now an area that highlights uncashed cheques. You may apply for a duplicate payment online. If you find an old cheque, not to worry. There is no expiry date on government cheques. You can find more information on the Canada Revenue Agency website.
