Habitat for Humanity Build 2022

On September 9, 2022, we participated in our first Habitat for Humanity build. It was a beautiful day and our team did an outstanding job. Not only did we help build a home for a deserving family, but we donated $5,600 to the cause! The following gallery captures some moments from the day.

WHO IS HABITAT FOR HUMANITY?

Habitat for Humanity Manitoba is one of 1,400 affiliates worldwide working to build safe, decent, and affordable homes for families. Every year, they partner with communities in Manitoba to help working, lower-income families achieve strength, stability, and independence through affordable homeownership.

Why We Wanted to Support Habitat

Currently, interest rates are rising in Canada, and housing supply and affordability are declining. As a result, the Government of Canada’s Budget 2022 dedicated an entire chapter to housing affordability. We wanted to roll up our sleeves and be a part of a solution. We could have done it alone, but there is strength in numbers! So why not invite friends and clients to join us? The result was a day of progress, team building, and camaraderie.
